Photography & Filming Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
We welcome visitors taking photographs and videos of their visit to Haverfordwest Christmas Light Trail while respecting the safety, privacy and enjoyment of others.
Personal photography
You may take photographs and videos for personal use.
Please keep paths clear, follow staff instructions and avoid using equipment in a way that creates an obstruction or trip hazard.
Do not enter restricted areas, climb on displays or interfere with equipment to obtain a photograph.
Please ask permission before taking close-up photographs of people outside your group, particularly children. Do not photograph anyone in an intrusive, harassing or distressing way.
Professional and commercial activity
Commercial photography, professional filming, organised shoots and substantial lighting or camera equipment require our prior written permission.
Additional permission may be required from the venue or other relevant parties.
Drones
Visitors must not launch, land or operate drones from the event site without prior written permission.
Authorised operations must comply with applicable aviation rules, venue permissions and safety arrangements.
Official event photography
Our team may photograph or film the event to document the trail and promote future events.
Images may appear on our website, social media, advertising, printed materials or press coverage.
We will provide appropriate information where official photography takes place.
For general crowd and event images, we may rely on our legitimate interests in documenting and promoting the event, taking visitors’ privacy and reasonable expectations into account.
For posed or prominently featured promotional portraits, we will ask permission. For featured children, we will obtain permission from a parent or guardian and take the child’s wishes into account.
Attendance does not, by itself, constitute consent to every use of your image.
If you prefer not to be photographed
Please tell the official photographer or a member of staff. We will take reasonable steps to respect your wishes.
We cannot guarantee that you will never appear incidentally in a background or crowd image.
If you have a particular safeguarding or privacy concern, contact us before your visit so we can discuss appropriate arrangements.
Image concerns and removal requests
If you are concerned about an image published by us, email info@pembrokeshirechristmaslightwalk.co.uk with a link or enough information to identify it.
We will review the request promptly, considering your rights, the circumstances and any safeguarding concerns.
We cannot directly control images independently published by other visitors or organisations, but we will explain any reasonable assistance we can provide.
Sharing photographs with us
Tagging us in an image does not transfer ownership to us.
If we wish to reuse your image, we will seek permission or use an appropriate sharing feature in accordance with its terms.
CCTV
CCTV is used for safety, security, crime prevention and incident investigation. It is separate from promotional photography.
Routine footage is retained for up to 60 days. Relevant footage may be retained longer where needed for an incident, investigation or legal claim.
See our Privacy Policy for further information.
